Welcome to Purple Planet Music - a donation-supported collection of royalty-free music by Chris Martyn and Geoff Harvey, based in Leeds, England. All the music on this site can be used for any type of film production or web presentation (education, podcasts, blogs etc - ideal music for YouTube) including revenue-generating, commercial uses.

We retain the copyright, but so long as it is not resold you are welcome to use our music in virtually any way you want. A donation is much appreciated (click the Donate button on this, or any, page), but at minimum we simply ask that we are correctly credited in your production, under a Creative Commons License. Our tracks are grouped into categories reflecting different moods. Each category page contains a preview of the main theme(s) of each track and a link to a separate page where you can preview and download the whole theme and its variants (theme, pad, stinger). All tracks can be downloaded easily with no need to register.
